A- (Jurisdiction & settlement of Maritime Claims) Act EIF 1 April 2018
- It shall apply to evry vessel, irrespective of the place of residence or domicile of the owner
- Not applicable to inland vessels, warships, naval auxiliary or other vessel operated or ownd by the central or a
state govt. & used for any non-commercial purpose & shall also not apply to foreign vessel which is used for any non-commercial purpose.
