Allowable Speed &Consumption:- Speed:- + - 0.5 knots ; Fuel:- + - 5%
Performance warrenty will not be applicable if :- wind speed >= BF 4 (Scale 4 (wind), 11 - 16 knots) Sea state exceeds 3 (Wave height 0.5m to 1.25m) , then perfromancewarrenty is not applicable

Voyage charter- The owner pays the port costs (excluding stevedoring), fuel costs and crew costs. The payment for the use of the vessel is known as freight.

Time Charter- The charters are responsible for the commercial employment of the vessel, bunker fuel purchase and Insurance for cargo, port and canal dues (including pilotage, towage, linesmen etc.), and all loading stowing/ trimming/ discharging arrangements and costs.

Bareboat Charter:-The charters have commercial and technical responsibility for: fuel vessel and pay all costs except capital costs.

In general ,Chartres instruct the vessel before commencement of each Voyage regarding Ship speed and fuel consumption to follow in addition to charter party contract.

For eg. “Vessel to proceed at 12.5 knots with maximum 18 tones FO consumption. In case vessel is unable to maintain required speed, vessel to restrict with maximum FO consumption”.

Any change required is further instructed by the charters.
