A- This Clause specifies the agreed geographical area & certain conditions under which the insured vessel is covered by the marine Insurance policy.

- It is a provision that sets out the conditions under which the insured vessel is covered while navig atng. It typically states that vessel is covered at all times when sailing or navigating with or without pilots including assisting or towing other vessels in distress.

- It shall not undertake towage or salvage services under a previouly arranged contract without the insurer’s consent
- Bunkrng, FW receiving is exmptd under this clause.

- E.g. navig atn clause might state that the ship is insured only while navigating b/w the specific ports in Mediternean sea. If the vessel sails outside this area, insurance becomes void.

- It is “WARRNTY” about where the vessel may navig ate.
