1. Voyage charter
• Fuel is supplied by the owners so the quality is in his hand
• Speed/Fuel Consumption requirement can be easily managed
• Maintaining Seaworthiness of vessel- to present the vessel during Iaycan.
• Maintenance of machinery
• Chief Eng. to regular monitoring the hull and Propeller performance/ fouling accordingly lias with office to
plan for Hull/Propeller cleaning.
2. Time Charter
CE DUTIES / RESPOSIBILTY IN TIME CHARTER:-
• Fuel consumption monitoring and advice bunker requirement to charterer as required .( +- 5% tolerance). Engine
Performance report, Speed power curves of the ship- check the requirement of the Charter Party-if ship is able to meet them.
• Ship speed (+- 0.5knots tolerance)
• Maintenance of machinery and cargo gears, boilers, mooring etc. so no delay in cargo operation/ off hire.
• Always target for seaworthiness of the vessel at all times.
• Maintained all records related to charterer requirement.
• Chief Eng. to regular monitoring the hull and Propeller performance/ fouling accordingly liaise with office to
plan for Hull/Propeller cleaning.
