A-There are 2 seals. If inward seal leaks then the fwd seal tank will become high level. Outward seal leaks then oil will come in the ER
-1ST Thing is I will give astern movement which might shift the seals from its current position or leaky position to new position which might arrest the leak.
-2nd thing I will try to shift the position of seal manually by removing the collar installed in seal assembly.
- 3 thing I will increase the head of the gravity tank of fwd. seal tank which might arrest the leak.
-4 thing Use more viscous oil
-5 Add seal saver compound in the oil. It increases the viscosity of oil and self-heals the seal
