1.Jobs to be carried out (eg. General inspection, Brake lining renewal, Testing of Brakes, Replacement of parts / Bearing etc )
2.Any reported defects
3.Any Class / Flag or other statutory requirement
4.Any recommendation from Owner
5.Failure history on vessel or on similar vessels with similar machinery
6.Windlass motor overhaul
Anchor windlass is it single shaft or multi shaft?
With reference with MR tanker- In general we use Single Shaft with gear & clutch arrangement for mooring winches and multiple shaft arrangement ( Concentric- on same axis)with Separate Drums, Gear and Clutch System for combined anchoring & mooring. The rotating shaft has the rotating clutch.
