A – Deleg ate the operational/ technical part like lubrication etc to 2/E.
1.RCA of the old liner, so tht new liner doesnt fail like the old one. Photographs etc of the old liner.
Reasons of failure- improper lubrication, bad quality of fuel, improper injection of fuel, cooling passages
2.IMO number of the new liner.
3.Entry into NOx tech file.
clogged. Compare weardown rate with other unit overhaul reports.
4.Min Critical spare consumed, report NC.
5.Raise requisition to get a new liner,
6.Request to offland the old liner.
7.Fabricate a new securing stand in case we cantoffland the old liner. 8.Report to H & M.
9.Need to inspect other units.
10.Request shore assistance for liner measurements of all units through scavenge spaces or starting ir vales etc. 11.Check fuel quality and dose any chemical/ additives if needbe, in consultation with Lab and makers.
12.Check Cooling water quality and modify dosing pattern as per that.
13.Raise Claim from Bunker supplier within 30 days of delivery. (As per BIMCO std bunkering contract- 14 days for quantity dispute and 30 days for quality dispute).
