For Systems using Active substances
1.Initial Approval as per G9 guidelines (Procedure for approval of BW MS that make use of Active substances) by GESAMP
2.Then land based testing as per BW MS Code (G8 Guidelines), then Approval of test from Admin(Flag)/RO 3.Then Shipboard testing as per BW MS Code (G8 Guidelines), then Approval of test from Admin(Flag)/RO 4.Then Final Approval as per G9 by GESAMP (Joint Group of Experts on the Scientific Aspects of Marine Environmental Protection)
5.Then type approval by Admin(Flag)/RO.
