Answer

Restricted waters-
Area where the navigation is limited or controlled.

Prohibited water- where navigation is strictly forbidden.

This may be due to national security, environmental protection, other regulatory concerns.

This may include- military zone, natural reserves, marine sanctuaries, and area with sensitive ecosystems.

Entering prohibited waters without authorization can result in fines , penalties, or legal consequences.

Archipelagic water-
It refers to the waters enclosed by baselines of archipelgc states, which consist of group of islands and adjacent waters. These waters are considered an integral part of the achipelagic state’s territory, similar to its land territory.

The Archipelgc state itself draws & declares archpilgc Baselines following UNCLOS criteria & then deposits the relevant charts with The UN secretary General.

This Archplgc doctrine allows a nation made up of islands to treat the water enclosed by the islands as internal, providing increased control over natural resources, national security & navig atn while still allowing for Intrntnl navigation & certain freedoms for other states.
