Seafarer Abandonment is when ship owner has :-
1. Fails to cover cost of repatriation

2. Left seafarer without necessary maintenance and support
3. Failed to pay sea farer salary of at least 2 months.

If abandoned -
1. Reach ITF seafarer support on the website - itfseafarers.org
2. Contact DG Shipping in India and explain your situation. Repatriation can be arranged by flag as they have COFS. 3. Contact DG Shipping, Grievance Redressal mechanism on e-governance.
