A- It means a voyage where neither the distance from the port in which the voyage begins to the final port of
destination nor the return voyage exceeds 1000 miles.
- Short International Voyage – in the course of which a ship is not more than 200 NM from a port or place
where the psgngrs & crew could be placed safely. (As per SOLAS ch-3 Reg. 1)
Neither the distance b/w the last port of call in the country in which the voyage begins & the final port of destintn nor the return voyage shall exceed 600 miles.
