Green Passport :
It is a notation given by class on its class certificate. GP is an inventory of all the materials used on board a ship that may be hazardous to peoples health or to the environment. This inventory is carried throughout the ships life. class reviews this periodically and renews every 5 years.

3. Helps recycling uard to make a safe and environmentally friendly way to scrap ship
GP was initiated in 2003. IHM is the successor of GP.
GP was prepared without any legal statements such as SDOC and MD. It was based on ship yards and owners declaration.
