I will start preparation from master’s cabin Documentation-
1.Documents- Stat and Class certificates, Copy of DOC, SMC, Previous External Audit Reports, PSC reports, Vetting reports, Mgt and Master’s review, Mgt and safety meetings, Rest hours, PMS, Suptd.’s Inspection report, Checklists, Permits, DOS, Drill Records etc.
2.Deck Rounds- Maintenance Records of LSA/FFA as per SMS.
3.Engine Room- Standing Orders, Table of Shipboard Working arrangement, Alarm log, deadman alarm, any inhibited alarm, PMS records of Emergency equipment last carried out, Procedures near machineries, Emergency Contingency checklists, Oil record book, ER Logbook, Defect List, Permits, General condition of ER- including Marpol equipment. Trying out of Emergencies/ alarms, hotspot check record,Thermometers, Pressure gauges, laggings in satisfactory condition, Muster list and muster duties. LSA/FFA Inspection record/tags, ER Training Log.
