If an internal transfer of sludge was carried out at 2000 hrs the previous night, that transfer should be the latest relevant ORB entry, recorded under Code C with the source tank, receiving tank, quantity transferred and retained quantity. I will verify the entry against tank soundings, engine-room logbook and transfer records before signing/taking over.

Then there can be weekly/ tank status declaration as to show actual tank condition to newly joined CE or PSC.
