Diff between External Audit and Internal Audit

An internal SMS audit is arranged by the Company to verify whether safety and pollution-prevention activities comply with the SMS and whether the system is effectively implemented.

An external ISM audit is conducted on behalf of the Flag Administration, normally by the Administration or its recognized organization, for verification related to the DOC and SMC.
