- Contains info on damage stability calcultns & procedures for maintng stability after damage
- Reqd for tankers, detailing how the ship will respond to flooding in various scenarios.

- It shall provide the master a simple & easily understandable way of assessing the ship’s survivability in
all damage cases involving a compartment or group of compartment iv)Damage Stblty calculation doc.
- Required for cargo ships 80m & upwards & all passsengr ships using a probabilistic approach to assess
damage stability.
