Ans. There is an Ethics or unwritten rule between Classification Societies that an RO will not interfere with the working of another except that the present RO is requesting to another RO. Both ROs should be recognized by the same Flag state.
In case of General Examination an independent RO will do the survey other than the RO which has carried out the survey and certification.
