• When temporary repair was done, owner must have informed class and recommendation or condition of class
was issued to the vessel
• Condition of class has got a time frame within which owner must carry out repairs.
• If shipowner do not carry out permanent repairs within the time frame given by class, then class is
suspended.
• These repairs have to be carried out in presence of the class surveyor and to the satisfaction of the class.
• If class remains suspended for 6 months, then class is withdrawn
