A – Preparation for class survey – Any outstanding COC has to be dealt within the time period.
1.Make sure the class survey are conducted within the window period.
2.Request class for the survey to be done at the intended day with the vessel schedule.
3.Make sure all certificates are present and valid.
4.Make sure all machinery are in satisfactory condition.
5.Prepare all records like BWT,CWT, Machinery records,etc to be credited.
6.Questionnaire from nominated class surveyor are completed and reported back.
7.Understand the scope and type of survey of being conducted.
8.All tools and equipment for survey are in ready to use condition- Record, working operation, Alarms and safeties try out.
9.All tanks to be inspected are ventilated and secured.
10.Make sure all personnel are well rested for the survey.
11.Make sure safety briefing is done with the class surveyor.
