1.Reg auging of tanks together with 4/E ----vessel tanks and barge tanks.
2. After confirming short supply --inform company and Charterers and seek advice. Request the appointed Surveyor to intervene and do the needful mediation in this case.
3.As per BIMCO bunker contract - notify at the time of delivery or issue LOP or any claim of shortfall to be presented by buyer within 15 days. Another LOP to be issued if supplier refuses to sign.
4.Scan and send to company and Charterers.
6.Check final Rob and taking into account safety margin check can you still take the Voyage, if needed stem extra Bunker at the same port if another empty tank is available to avoid mixing.
7. If the bunkers available cannot take you to the next port safely and no tank empty to receive another stem, discuss port of refuge to receive bunkers.
8. If you plan to consume minimum safe reserve of bunkers to reach next port, intimate to the company and report NC.
