Q64a- SSA/ SSP onsite survey. ISPS Interim ISSC & full term ISSC















SSA Onsight survey includes and perform the SSA on following 4 points
1)identification of procedure ,operation and security measure
2)identification of key shipboard operation
3)identificatafter ion of possible threat which can hamper the ship operation
4)identification of weakness including human factor
CSO receive copy of SSA done by RSO (1) and reviewthe SSA and if ok then accept the SSA. Now CSO will tell RSO (1) prepare ship specific SSP
After receiving the ship specific SSP, CSO will forward SSA AND SSP to RSO(2)for approval of SSP
RSO(2) reviews the ssp &ssa And conduct Interim Audit onboard. RSO(2) will check following thing are implemented onboard.

1)Marking of restricted area
2)Contingency plan for security threat.

3)Duties in. different level of security.

4)Knowledge of using security equipment’s , testing of equipment’s.

5)Citadel : identification, provision water fire hose , means of communication 6)Security seals, tags , visitor logbook.

7)SSAS system fitted onboard
8)Csr onboard
After completing successful interim Audit of ship, RSO(2) will endorse the ssp and send it to CSO,RSO(1) and Flag state and issue interim ISSC valid for six month.

After successful implementation of lsps onboard for 30 days CSO will call RSO(2) for issuing full term ISSC.

RSO(2) may conduct another Audit or else on the basis of previous Audit and considering evidence of compliance may issue full term ISSC for 5 years.
